This is a tool that adds a virtual sound card so that you could record more than one audio input.
Virtual Audio Streaming adds a virtual sound card and becomes an enhancement/wrapper of your real sound card in the system. This virtual streaming functionality lets you not only record but also broadcast and connect to all kinds of sound sources. These may be a local audio file, microphone, sound application, online music or online chatting/conference voice. Yahoo chats or Skype meetings with people, with your on-line friends or family members could be recorded by mixing with( or by themselves) your own voice and then broadcast. These broadcasts could be on may be MSN messenger or ustream.tv. You are able to get over the “no stereo mix” in Windows 7. The features available include recording of on-line streaming music/audio, soundtrack of games, record of mic inputs, extracting audio from video, removing of DRM protection from WMA files, etc.
With the “record sounds per audio stream” you could let the software automatically recognize & split sounds to different wav files per audio stream. The interface will take some time to getting used to and figure out the exact functions. It will let you set some parameters such as bit rate, sample rate, etc. for optimal results. But, that means you should be knowledgeable about such things. The preview player is handy. This is a good product with useful features. If you were looking for a product like this, this could be a good candidate to try out.
